Piazza Scans Near Z+F USA's Headquarters
Just outside Pittsburgh, PA, Z+F USA team took the opportunity to scan the Piazza, a local outside mall and gathering spot, to put two scanning technologies to work on one real-world site. Using the Z+F FlexScan 22® mobile SLAM system and Z+F IMAGER®, the team captured the site in under an hour, excluding equipment setup.
The result is a detailed dataset that demonstrates more than scanning speed. It shows how mobile and static scanning data can work together to capture a site with the detail, coverage, and flexibility the project demands.
39 Minutes in the Field
Capturing detailed reality data does not have to mean spending hours on site. The Piazza dataset was collected in just 39 minutes of scan time, not including setup, using a combination of mobile and static scanning.
